SOLUTION:

Three ratios are used to find the liquidity of the firm or company.
1: Current ratio
2: Quick ratio
3: Avg. collection period

If current and quick ratio are less than 1 than it is not good for any company. If these are very high than it is also a alarming situation for a company.
Avg. collection period is different for every company.
current and quick ratios often cause misleadings about condition of a company.

These telecom companies left people in confusion that which has to choose. They left people in frustration and they can't choose the best among them. These companies make people fool and these packages don't give any benefit to people. On the other hand, people don't get their desire product. These are unnecessary  for people and they suffer from loss. These SMS packages are giving harm to youngsters of society. These companies are giving extra tension to people. And due to fault choice, which they made by viewing such kind of advertisement, they left no choice to purchase one more SIM.Which cause them extra expenses.

On the other hand, these companies will also suffer from loss.because people leave their product and purchase the other one. And they don't make long term commitment with their customers. But mostly people want to choose those Sim which gives them best connection and some inexpensive packages instead of a list of packages. But mostly people left in confusion and make false choice. These packages waste time of people. But if these companies give them good advertisement such as jobs, universities then it helps people in making decision of their future. This concept of marketing is called Societal Marketing Concept.Which is used for the welfare of society and in return it gives best result to the companies.

Question/Description
GDB No. 1

An intense competition exists between telecommunication operators in Pakistan since 2005. To compete and create a win-win situation, every operator is trying to adopt creative marketing strategies. To continuously enhance the market share, companies try to offer different packages to the target consumers and convince them through bombardment of advertisements through multi channels. On one side companies use creative marketing strategies to win the competition but on the other side the same creates difficulties for individuals to decide what brand and package could be best suitable for them. These activities not only create difficulty in decision making but also create post purchase dissonance. Selection of a most suitable brand is a tricky thing and masses are not capable enough to make shrewd decisions in this regard.  This is quite an interesting stage for the telecom companies where they have the margin to grab the attention of this segment of the market which is confused by using different creative marketing strategies and keeping the existing customer intact. Some of the evidence can be observed in series of funny advertisements (Ufone), some of them focus on business community and offer different facilities (easy paisa), some others focus on teenage youth (D juice, It’s fun to be young) etc.

By considering the above scenario, describe with logical reasons that up to what extent the marketing strategies of telecom operators are helpful for customers in making purchase decision? Does this creates confusion or help them achieve desired needs?
