Part 1: Basic networking commands. (How to ping ? )

Step:1

First of all open the command window by typing in run (start->run) then type cmd .now command window is open.then change the path by type.with cd command you can move between different folders and dir command you can open the directory of any folder.

Step:2

Then change the path by typing cd\.now dir\ command are used to open the directory of any folder.

Step:3

 Now open the directory of c  by typing  dir\.then change the path and goes to the system 32 in cmd.

Step:4

After entering window32 you can ping to any server like www.vu.edu.pk or www.google.com etc.

Now you can see how many packets of data sent and received  and no packet lost.and it also shows the round trip time in minimum and maximum and average.This is the way you can send ping command in any server.
